41st Annual Norman Gottlieb Student Art Exhibition

For over 40 years, the Zena and Pauline Gatov Gallery, in conjunction with the Long Beach Unified School District, has brought together a sampling of the best artwork that Long Beach middle and high school students have to offer. This annual show provides a unique opportunity for students to participate in a juried art show, sponsored by Jewish Long Beach through a special fund established by Past President Norman Gottlieb z”l. The show is currently generously subsidized by Dr. Daniel and Nicole Honigman.

Jewish Long Beach is proud to continue to support talented young artists. Each year, the top participants from both middle and high school are recognized for their artistic achievement at an awards reception with family, friends, fellow classmates, and the local community.

The show also awards the "Honigman Award for Inspired Visual Arts Education," recognizing the dedication of art educators in public schools. The Gatov Gallery Art Committee extends its thanks to all the art teachers of LBUSD who help make this show possible.
