October 17 - What Do I Want For My Child & My Parenting Style
Together, we’ll dream big for our children and for ourselves as parents. Who are we in this role? Who do we want to be? And how do we get there? This workshop is about setting intentions and aligning your parenting style with the values that matter most to you.
November 14 - Kind and Firm
Learn the powerful methods we use in our preschool classrooms and how to bring them home. Discover how kindness and firmness work hand-in-hand to create respectful, nurturing, and consistent boundaries. These are the keys to the kingdom for building cooperation and mutual respect!
December 12 - The Belief Behind the Behavior & Parents Helping Parents
What is your child really communicating through their behavior? In this session, we’ll explore the “why” behind children’s actions and practice tools to respond effectively. We’ll also lean on the wisdom of the group through a Parents Helping Parents activity—supporting one another with real solutions.

Jamare Harris, Children, Youth & Family Education Manager
I’ve been a part of the J my entire adult life, beginning as a Pre-K teacher for over a decade before transitioning to Education Coordinator and now Education Manager. My daughter graduated from the preschool program, and my family have been proud AJCC members since I was a child. Supporting and fostering growth in teachers, children, and families is my passion, and I’m honored to help shape our vision and philosophy year after year.
