Join Dr. Donald Schwartz, a professor emeritus of history at California State University Long Beach, for a lecture series entitled AMERICA IN THE 1950s: HAPPY DAYS OR MISPLACED NOSTALGIA?
The 1950s is often portrayed as a carefree decade of economic prosperity and social harmony, particularly when compared to the turbulent 1960s and the repeated crises we are experiencing today. This four-part lecture series will examine the political, cultural and social developments to determine whether the 1950s really was a decade of ‘happy days’.
Pricing:
Member/ $15 per lecture or $50 for the whole series
Non Member /$20 per lecture or $65 for the whole series
