JEWISH COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE WEALTHY TO LEAVE A LEGACY
“We can all build the future together by setting aside a legacy gift in our will”, says Jewish Community Foundation President Gene Lentzner.
The Jewish Community Foundation offers many options to help you create your personal legacy. There is an option for every circumstance. Your legacy gift can be designed to match your personal circumstances and desires. Every option provides unique tax and estate planning advantages and is an expression of your lifelong care and involvement. “ We can all preserve and ensure the future of the organizations that we have spent a lifetime supporting with a legacy gift” Gene adds.
You designate how your gift is to be used: to provide funds to help meet community needs now and in the future; or to provide permanent resources to aid identified programs, projects, agencies, organizations, or initiatives that are of particular interest to you and your family. It's up to you.
The staff of the Jewish Community Foundation are available to answer to personal questions, please call the Foundation office at (562) 426-7601 ext. 1008.

What is GesherCity
GesherCity is a non-profit entrepreneurial venture connecting young adults, primarily in their early 20's and 30's, to the Jewish community.
The Challenge
Young adults are the most mobile members of society, often moving from city to city to meet the demands of work, school, and family. Because of their busy schedules and changing lifestyles, many Jewish young adults fail to recognize the wealth of existing Jewish resources that add value to their personal and professional lives. To successfully target this community, multi-city participation is required.
The Mission
Our Mission: To bridge young adults to the Jewish community by providing Access to Personal Networks and Information Resources.
Our Goal: To establish a global network of GesherCity “Bridges” branded under a common name that can be recognized by Jewish young adults everywhere. To enhance the Jewish community by building collaborative relationships and developing new community leaders.
Our Vision: To be the hub of the young adult Jewish community.

NEW YORK (JTA) -- I have this internal iPod in my head that provides theme music for my life. Lately my theme song is “Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles. Not only is it my theme song, but this year it is the theme song of the entire Jewish people.
